i've used the Rio Grande Muy Grande 7 string single coils in Strats and a 540S7, the old Saber 7 string with the Lo Pro Edge. the Muy Grandes do a great pushed texas, high output single coil sound. if you use the forum search for Muy Grande or my name, i'm sure you can several old posts of me talking about them.
