Paf Pro for neck, f-spaced
Hi there! There's something driving me nuts.... I've got a RG1570, and I'm quite confused about the pole spacing of the neck pickup. I want to replace the three of them with DiMarzio's (Super Distortion, Paf Pro and Blue Velvet). I know single coils' are already F-Spaced, and the Super Distortion for bridge position is available in a F-Spaced model.
But..., what about the neck? Would I have to replace the V7 with a F-Spaced pickup? By the way, does exist the Paf Pro for neck position in F-Spaced version?
Just one more thing.... I live in Spain, Europe. If you know of any dealers (no matter the country they're located in) that have the Paf Pro for neck and f-Spaced, and would be happy to ship here, please let me know!
Thanks a million, guys!!

Re: Paf Pro for neck, f-spaced
It should also be f-spaced since the 1570 has a 43mm nut

You can use either one in the neck position. Ibanez normally uses an F spaced pup there, but regular space will work as well.

Re: Paf Pro for neck, f-spaced
Cool! Thank you all!
Now the issue is as follows: there're no specific Paf Pro models for both bridge and neck, are there? I mean, for instance, the Evolution for neck position is labeled DP158 and the one for bridge position is named DP159, and each one has its own features. But that's not the case of the Paf Pro, is it? Is there only one Paf Pro version that can be used for both bridge and neck?
I'm checking that web site too! Thanks again!
P.S.- Is the combo mentioned in my previous post good (Super Dist./Blue velvet/Paf Pro)? I mean, do these pickups match well each other?

Correct. (edit: there's only 1 paf pro)
Check musiclandcentral dot com (sorry, I can't post links yet.)
I received a D-Sonic from them 3 hours ago. Highly recommended store.
I'm ordering a Dimarzio Air Norton now.

Re: Paf Pro for neck, f-spaced
Thanks, Typhonian!
I've just checked the web site, but unfortunately they don't ship DiMarzio products overseas, since it seems DiMarzio's terms about shipping don't let US dealers send these items outside the States.... Do those terms apply to every dealer...?
What about the combo? Do the three pickups mentioned above match well each other? Thank you in advance again!!
Cheers!

Iron, I ship to Europe all the time.
I have a ton of pickups in stock, IbanezDeamon already mentioned that but I have a load of info too here:

Re: Paf Pro for neck, f-spaced
Hi Jaden. Thanks for your offer, but the Pound Sterling is higher-valued than my currency (Euro), and if adding the shipping fee, the total cost would be even higher than going by myself to a local dealer and buy the picks. The US Dollar is quite lower-valued, and that's why I was trying to order them from the States.

Re: Paf Pro for neck, f-spaced
your welcome, the pound is a strong currency and does make it tempting to buy from the US, of course there is higher shipping costs, customs admin and import duties to consider so....
local dealer may be easier in any case.

Re: Paf Pro for neck, f-spaced
Yep, you're right about import duties. However, in Spain customs are subject to changes, depending on the size of the package, the shipping method and the amount declared. I've already ordered Seymour Duncan humbuckers twice and got no problem. If ordering a guitar, gotta be sure to pay at least 18.8% of total cost (item + shipping).
Actually, I love UK; the only issue I consider is its powerful currency, as it makes staying there quite expensive....
