Pickup help, Tone Zone in bridge.

just wired up my Tone Zone in the bridge, but don't think I've done it properly, i soldered the black and white wires together and then soldered to the switch and put tape over the connection. I think it sounds like a single-coil though still.
here's a clip, the riff is played 3 times 1st Neck (V7) then middle (s1) then bridge (tone zone)

and i also know its not grounded properly because its buzzing like hell heh.

just adding that I finally got to use my guitar with a proper amp today (hughes and kettner warp7) and I am so stoked with it. So much grunt and am getting pinch harmonics all over the place which I couldn't get before, I'm in love with my guitar more than ever now.
Can't wait to get my ENGL screamer
