Pickup pole pieces
Hi, I'm wondering if anyone knoes what influence a pole piece has on a pickups overall tonal range. Some are longer, some are a different type of head. For example I have an SD-SH12 (Screamin' Demon) and it has hex flat head pole pieces and flat blade rounded top head pole pieces. I believe that the rounded flat blade pole pieces are also longer.
Well any mod tips and what would will they do for the overall tone would be great, regards to all the forum members,
