Pickup suggestion for my JEM 10th

Hi everybody!

I have my JEM 10th since a few months right now. Great guitar, but I still donīt like the evoīs in there! So Iīm might want to put some different pickups in there.
As I really like the sound of my Wolfgang, I thought putting a Tone Zone in bridge and an Air Norton might be a good idea.

But what would you guy suggest me? What experiences have you made with different pickups in a JEM?

Thanks.

Re: Pickup suggestion for my JEM 10th

The TZ is a good idea, maybe with a Breed (neck).

Or even DiMarzioīs best pickup combination :

Super 3 (bridge) and Super 2 (neck).

I have different jems including a jem10. I also prefer the pafs over the evolutions but don't change them. For me it has a sound that I don't use every day but I can't live without it.

You will start to apreciate the sound it after a while.

Yes jemke, maybe I will start loving my Evos someday. Itīs very strange, sometimes Iīm playing around thinking "wow these evos are great". But often I just hate them!
I donīt know what to do right now. The biggest problem is you canīt "try" pickups, you have to buy them!
And optically seen, only changing the bridge pickup for a first step wouldnīt look very nice on a JEM 10
Maybe I will do some more tweaking on my Triaxis. But whenever I have found a good sound, I plug in my Wolfgang and then it sounds even better! And thatīs the reason why I had the idea to chance the evos into TZ and AN. But then I would have a similar sound and I donīt know if this would bring me much further. Maybe there are some other pickups that sound great in a JEM, but as I said, you canīt try this out!
Any other suggestions?

Red Dragon...the Super 2 + 3 are well balanced? They seem pretty close in output. Usually the neck is lower. What are the sound characteristics of this combo? Good for many styles or mostly hard rock/metal?
