Hey ppl I recently contacted Dimarzio about selecting some pickups. I play alot of metal when jamming with others but when I am at home I usually just play (attempt) alot of Satch,Vai and Petrucci. I grew up in the 80's so I like to play that stuff too Ozzy Metallica old stuff not the heart breaking stuff they put out now
Pink floyd and just about anything by Lynch. I had initianlly asked him if he thought an Evo2 bridge and Breed neck would cover this. He said (Steve from Dimarzio Awesome dude BTW) that would work for a "thick" sound? I said I wanted a thick sound but not muddy. I told him I had a crate BV and he recomended a Steve's special and a
Air norton neck. What do Y'all think. I have 2 guitars I am looking at putting new pickups(one on the way gonna but a full set of Evo's in) I was kinda thinking about a Mo'Joe also.
