Pickup suggestions for two completely different guitars.

First, I have an RG7421 with an Evo in the bridge, but stock Vwhatever in the neck. Would a Blaze be a good neck match, or is that not high enough output?

I haven't been able to find any Blaze Customs anywhere in black, or I'd go with that.

Second:

I have an Ibanez SZ720 (http://********.com/Ibanez-SZ720FM--...-i129277.music) and would like some good low-to-medium output pickups. I have an RG565 with EMGs and that 7421 with an evo, so I've got high output covered.

What I'm looking for is some kind of classic sound, or hard rock-not-quite-metal sound for the SZ. The body is mahogany. Hoping to have the pickups have chrome covers, as it would just look better in that guitar.

Any ideas?

vitual paf bridge and neck , maybe the virtual hot paf paired with a paf joe .

you may think about a breed neck in the bridge , i know one other guy on the forum did that and was really happy , it sounded great too .

For the 7 string: Go with a neck pickup based on tone, not output. An Air Norton 7 will match fine with an EVO7 bridge, so just about any 7 string pickup will work(Blaze neck, PAF7), depending on what tone you want.

Has anyone ever tried DiMarzio's PAF Classic?

I'm mostly interested in it because it's a PAF, and the cover. It would look best in the SZ720, but I don't know how it SOUNDS.
