Pickup Swap

Hey guys, I have an Ibanez S520EX with the stock INF 1 and 2 pickups in it. I am pretty unsatisfied with the pickups.

I play mostly metal like Iron Maiden, Megadeth and In Flames. I like a nice mid-rangy distortion tone.

Any reccomendations?

Also, I'm assuming I will need a bit more room for active pickups, and they will probably be more expensive to install, so preferrably passive pickup reccomendations please.

A DiMarzio X2N in the bridge and a Air Norton in the neck.
