Pickups for my RG...

So I have been reading alot of the pickup threads posted. I am looking for a classic sounding pickup.

Guitar: RG2XXV (Basswood/Rosewood/Trem/24 frets) going with H/H set up with only a volume knob as I never really use the tone knob on the guitar.
5-way switch (Bridge/Bridge split/both split/Neck Split/Neck)

Music: Classic Rock/Classic Metal..AC/DC,Black Sabbath,Judas Priest,80's/90's Rock/Metal

Amps: Marshall Haze 15H>212 Loaded with WGS Vet 30/ET-65
Blackstar HT-20 combo w/WGS Vet 30

Want to go with Dimarzio for the crazy colors....

I was thinking a Tone Zone/Air Norton. I really liked the TZ in my Charvel SoCal but it was Alder. I have read the Classic pickup choice is a Dimarzio Super D/PAF Pro combo. I was thinking of going with that as I am more than likely going with a TZ in my 02' Fender MIA OFR strat since I loved it in my Charvel.

Super Distortion and PAF Pro are a good pick. A newer set is the new Steve Lukather Transition set. They are very good too.

all the pickups you two have suggested are great. If you are playing older stuff though you may want something a little brighter.

I suggest the crunch lab, or maybe a mo'joe or even fred. The humbucker from hell in the neck is a great full clear pickup that does single coil clarity with humbucker punch and fullness.

i would listen to some demos and then figure out if you are looking for a brighter sound or more of warm sound.

Thanks for the advice,I ended buying a purple set: Super D bridge & Liquifire neck after doing several different selections on the Dimarzio site those came up most
