Pickups Recommendation

ok, I own several guitars including a Jem7Vwh ad want something different now.

I want to replace the pickups in a RG570CTAM (alder body with maple top, bolivian rosewood fgbd and Lo-pro edge bridge)

As I already own a Jem (alder) with EVOs I want something different now. The same basic sound but with less bite. Some more "round" and smouth.

Any recommendation?

Here is the guitar:

Re: Pickups Recommendation

sounds like you might like breeds... really nice rounded pickups with a little bit of bite so that pick articulation is still great...

Otherwise Air nortons in the bridge and neck might be nice in that particular guitar.. again rounded... but with less bite to them

you could use the extra pots for some interesting wiring

Yeah i gotta agree with Devo the breeds are probably your best bet, nice round yet slightly bity pickups with a decent amount of output, close to evo's but aren't as bity.

+ 1 On the (air) Nortons. Would put a normal Norton in the bridge though.
