Hi!
The
piezo system in my 1820X has been working beautifully for the last year and a half, now I've discovered the low E string has a problem.... The string is only about half the volume of the rest, and is quite distorted. No good

... From looking at wiring diagrams and the actual guitar itself, I think it's probably something to do with the little black wire that runs from the braided wire to the saddle, although I could be completely wrong as I don't really know much about this stuff. I know from reading about the double edge that fixing it myself would be way out of my league, but would an experienced guitar tech at a
music store be a good bet? What I mean is can it be done by someone who's good with a soldering iron, or is it one of those situations that can only be fixed by replacing the whole bridge in a factory somewhere? Also, why would something like this happen? I noticed this problem today after I picked it up from the music store, my tech was rewiring the pickups for me. Could it be something they've done?
Please help!
Thanks
Glenn
