Hello Jemsite,
I've been working on a Franken RG (it's actually almost finished, with chambered basswood body with spruce top, satin polyu finish) and I just couldn't stand the idea of a 'standard' wiring. My franken RG will be HSS. I've never really appreciated the middle pickup by itself, but I do enjoy the mid+neck and mid+bridge sounds. So, I've come up with a somewhat new wiring technique. I will use a three way toggle switch to switch between neck, neck+bridge, bridge. Then, a 4PDT on/on/on switch will allow me to either have the middle pickup off, on in
parallel, or on in
series with whatever combination is coming out of the toggle switch. The attached diagram shows the wiring necessary. First question, did I get the connections right?? Second, is there any way to do this, without having to get the 4PDT, but still use only one switch?

This switch is hard to find, but available from C&K components, model 7411SYZQE
I am aware of several other modifications to achieve the series/parallel options. Most use many switches and push-pull pots. I'm looking for something relatively simple, and somewhat unique!
