Please help with inf 3 and inf4 question

Please look and see if you have any inf3 and inf4 's around, I had a set and they were straight humbuckers and had 3 conductors I took off the logos because I was using them on a non ibanez guitar. You guys are the experts and I figure you guys might have some lying around to let me know how yours are wired and how many wires are coming out of yours. Please help . thanks

Re: Please help with inf 3 and inf4 question

The white wire is hot and the red wire is the coil tap on the INF pickups.

Re: Please help with inf 3 and inf4 question

Can't believe I stumbled upon this thread, that originally came from a sale of said pickups, on harmony-central. Actually, the supposedly "inf3/inf4" pickups that were sent to me from jjegg, were 2 conductor. A hot & a ground only for each, with the "inf3/inf4" stencil barely showing. Definitely not a real set or the ONLY set in the world like them.

Not true!!! I have an INF 3 that I'm dealing with right now that has 5 leads, and I'm struggling as to which to tie together. It has red, black, white, and blue leads, plus a ground. Can anyone help?

Ibanez have wiring diagrams on their site. The info for the wires should be there too.

Re: Please help with inf 3 and inf4 question

I've looked and it seems as if even they don't realize they've put out pickups with 5 conductors. Everything on their site is for 3. I've sent in an inquiry on their help page, but haven't heard back yet. I wish there was someone there I could call.
