Punchy V7 Neck Pickup

I've realized that my V7 neck pickup is a little too punchy when clean, and kind of makes strummed chords to have too much attack. Is this the usual characteristic of the V7?

Does the Paf Pro suffer from this as well? Or could this be just my amp and EQ settings

Re: Punchy V7 Neck Pickup

i would say you can "fix" that with amp and EQ, or by lowering the pup a bit.
