Q-Tuner Demo

Good morning !

there was a thread on here a while ago about q-tuners, for which I'd done the demo for the bridge pickup (OD demo). There were a few complaints about the tone - I am not by any means a tone freak and will generally play through most things (after all, you get used to the sound of your own kit after a while) - but, after getting some helpful advice from Dee here, I got a v-amp pro. Super bit of kit and sounds much better than the thing I was using before. Anyway, upshot is that after re-listening to the original demo, realising the tone was rubbish etc & chatting to Erno, I re-recorded the demo for Erno at Q-Tuner, which is now on the site here:

http://www.q-tuner.com/download.shtml

Please bear in mind it's the same piece as before, so it's the same widdly stuff (I did in fact try and make it more so ).

I'm off to work now. Been off ill all week with the heaviest cold I've had in years and still feeling under the weather.

cheers

Ben

ps there is another song using the pickup posted at http://www.myspace.com/benswanwick called 'Feet' - I didn't record this one specifically for Erno, but it has less widdly moments.

Re: Q-Tuner Demo

Hey Ben,

thats a serious improvement on tone! Im really impressed by the sound and chops..

will have to get me some Q's now.. they would look good in a JS1200 I think.. or maybe a 7DBK with a steel pickguard... decisions decisions

any pics of the guitar with the pups installed?
