Troll?
Very nice, I'm wasting my time trying to help you.
What a lack of education and gratitude.

well if what you are doing is called helping...going around and telling people what they already know...
then i'd say you need some education my friend.
and yes CL/LF combo aren't screaming pickups.i don't know how to make it clear
even the dimarzio says so.they sound sweet but they can't scream.
after all this,if
gravity storm
can't sound as what i want i'd go for CL/LF and forget about screaming!i really do like that set.

Re: questions about gravity storm on RG550
There ARE reviews here.
LP and I were the first to have them on the web.
Look in the comparison shopping section.

Re: questions about gravity storm on RG550
ok
i think i have the answer
and i think gravity storm and a fast track 1 will do great for me.
but still i have some worries about alternate tunings and the rg550 basswood body.
personally i don't think the basswood body is a problem since the gravity pickups are high output pickups!
so just the alternate tuning remains to be seen.

Re: questions about gravity storm on RG550
Why would alternate tunings be an issue?
Just make sure to properly intonate.

The issue is that if you tune down there is a chance the tone might get too muddy. Some pickups are great for downtuning thanks to a tight bass response, cutting mids and clear highs, others turn muddy.
As someone who's reviewed the Gravity Storms here and on my blog I have a feeling they might get a bit muddy in a basswood RG550. I did test them in one, and the bass response might not quite be tight enough for going lower than D.
If you want to tune down I really recommend the Mark Morton signature Dominion DiMarzios. These were designed for someone who tunes down. The low end is tight, response is super fast. The Gravity Storm bridge has an Alnico 5 magnet, which gives you a spongier low end, which may not work for down tuning.

I don't know--the low end is pretty tight with these in my RG620....

I hear ya. lol.
Petie on here did a review on his blog a while back. Not sure if it answers your questions.
http://iheartguitarblog.com/2012/08/...umbuckers.html
His clip in the above link also seems to convey the sound a bit better than other reviews I've found on the web.
A lot smoother than EVO's, and not as crispy it seems.
I have EVO's myself in one of my guitars (basswood body), and they're a little too crispy. Breeds are much better, yet to try the Gravity Storms.

Depends on the piece of basswood. Mine's a little muddy. Basswood can vary a bit I've found. I wouldn't want to completely recommend it since I don't know what the OPs guitar sounds like acoustically.

Agreed--that's the tricky part.
Best bet is to go to the DiMarzio site and look at the EQ for each model and "try" to decide.
