Re: REALLY need ur advise on pickup selection
There's alot of less known pups that could be really good but i like sticking to the more popular ones until i have enough guitars and pups to start experimenting. Do u know of a player that uses air zone so we can get an idea?

Page Hamilton has one in the bridge on his new ESP sig if I'm not mistaken.

If your budget can't stretch far (seeing as you Ozzies get higher prices on gear there) I'd suggest that you go for the LTD model. The only cosmetic difference is the way the bridge cavity is routed.

Whoops. I thought you referred the guitar as 'it' instead of his music. I Kinda lost touch with the topic of this thread.

Re: REALLY need ur advise on pickup selection
the
tone zone
and
air norton
are to me the best dimarzios ever
the ONLY other set i like more is the EVH dimarzios on the EBMM guitar and they are quite simlar to the TZ/AN set anyway

TZ or air zone in the bridge and air norton in the neck
the air zone in the neck is too boomy and not recomended
it will be too muddy there in the bridge it rocks though it is clear and powerful
the tone zone is that type of tone too but has more drive and burn and just has sick harmonics
if you play a style that requires more of a classic P.A.F tone the air zone is best
if you style is more modern and requiers more juice the tone zone is killer
it sounds like the amp has molten lava pouring out of it!
