Removing a pickup

Hey,

My guitar has 2 humbuckers (EMG81 + 60), 3 way toggle + 2 vols + 1 Tone knob. I'm curious to know how easy it would be for me to remove the neck pickup and toggle completely, leaving me with Vol, Tone + EMG 81? Is this something someone with near to no experience in wiring/soldering (like me) could do with some guidance? Or should I get a pro to do this?

Cheers
Joe

Soldering is a bit of an art, but not difficult. You shouldn't have any problems with what you are describing. Get a few wires and practise soldering first.

Re: Removing a pickup

yeah once you are ok with soldering, you'll be fine along with some guidance or diagrams on how to wire it.
