I need replacement pickup suggestions for the AS73T I mostly play modern rock with cleaner sections (think Angels And Airwaves, 30 seconds to mars etc)

im mostly drawn to dimarzios but if i had a strong enough reccomendation i would use anouther brand

Check out Bareknuckle pickups mate. Probably the best on the planet. Have a look at the Harmony Central reviews on them. Incredible!

Bareknuckle make great pickups but I don't think their humbuckers are any better than DiMarzios or Duncans. I can't comment on their singel coils. They're definately a boutique brand and you pay for the name as well as a top quality product.

Having said that I like the intrinsic DiMarzio sound so I'm always looking for pickups to sound like a DiMarzio.

My bet would be for you to go for DiMarzio's Air Classic or EJ Custom sets.

Screamin' Demon is an interesting choice in a semi hollow! I'd not have thought to go down that sort of route at all!!!
