Replacing v7 and v8 in RG505

I find the stock pups have no sustain, and i have two pink paf pros that i hope will blow the stock pups to bits.

Is it a straight replacement or are the v7/8 pups only two core lead?? if so i guess i'll need a wiring diag? will i need to alter the single coil wiring??

v7/8 are three core, paf pros are four core.

to replace your Vs wire like this: white+black = coil tap, red = hot, green = ground.

That will make the trick

I tried same with RG550. It's simple. Go on Dimarzio site, pick humbuckers, pick paf pro, pick instalation, pick humbucker-single-humbucker and connect paf pros accordingly..leave single the way it is..it will work.
