So the neck is regular spaced and the bridge is F-Spaced?

Yes. I believe two F-spaced pickups would work great, but as i see, the regular-spaced pickup is aligned very good under each string in the neck position

Actually the guitar plays great. You just need a bit of attention to details and some tweaking of the height of the pole-pieces
