RG550MXXRFR Studio Pickups

In a few weeks I'll be purchasing a Road Flair Red RG550 reissue, I like my DY so much that I can't pass up the opportunity to get a Red one for studio use.

I'm thinking of putting in a Tone Zone in the bridge, a FS-1 in the middle, and a PAF Pro in the neck. The only one I'm set on is the PAF Pro. I have some questions...

What is a really "jangly / stratty" single coil for the middle? Kinda quacky?

Is the Tone Zone good for leads without peaking on the high end and getting a squeaky, digital sounding "Dave Mustaine" tone like most bridge pups (EMG 81, Duncan JB)?

Cool thanks, I was thinking of a blue velvet!

I'm also getting these...

But I'm keeping them stock, because they already come with fabulous parts. I'll probably just use those for rhythm tracks. A whole decent studio set up for about 5k isn't bad...

I have a black PAF Pro (F-spaced) that I'm most likely going to be selling. I bought it just over a month ago to try in the bridge slot of my Les Paul and it's just not my thing in that guitar. I'd let it go for $48 shipped priority mail (lower 48.) It's got all the original lead on it.

Hey dude, thanks for the offer, I would be seriously considering that but I'm looking for the pups in blue...Just my thing in case I decide to use it live down the line. I know someone on the forum would take those off your hands if you are selling them though. Thanks a bunch for asking.
