RG570 incoming.....what p'ups for classic rock to heavy blues?

Hey,

Just got this.........totally a new style axe for me. I'm much more of a strat/tele/335 player.........

Having tried these in the past, I assume I'm gonna want to swap pickups. What are some good choices for classic rock .........say, Cream to Van Halen level gain? I don't have much experience with basswood.....

Any advice appreciated!

cheers,

Jim

Dimarzio Breeds sound good in basswood and can get a vintage sound.

Breeds definately have that vintage vibe. I dunno about the Van Halen thing but I've only used them in mohagany.
