rg570 pickups

Hey friends, Im new here. Im wondering if you guys can help. I got a 1990 rg570 & I wanna replace the pickups. Could you guys recomend me some pickups. I play hard rock & heavy metal, I guess the tune Im looking for is like Judas Priest, Queen, & Randy Rhoads. Im play through an Engl Screamer 50

Tone Zone/True Velvet/Air Norton <----most often recommended.
Tone Zone/True Velvet/PAF Pro, try to find an S1 which is a PAF Pro with chrome pole pieces which will match up to the other pups better.
Air Zone<---less power but more focused than Tone Zone/True Velvet/Air Norton
Paf Pro/FS-1/Paf Pro <---all around do everything setup.
Super Distortion/FS-1/Super 2 <-----Classic old School
X2N/SDS-1/Super 2 <---Metal,Metal and more Metal.


All of these will get you in the realm.

Personally I don't like the Tone zone as I think it tends to get too bassy and muddy, so you'll have to decide if you like your tone full or a little brighter. If you like it full the Tone Zone is a great pickup.

The combo I use in my 2000 RG570 is:
Bareknucle miracleman (B) / Red Velvet Reverse Wounded (M) / Air Zone (N)

and it is just great

I have a Basswood MIJ RG470 and I have a PAF Pro in the neck and a Fred in the Bridge and it is perfect for rock and metal. The Fred just screams artificial harmonics it is very musical and articulates really well.
