so I have looked up the schematic for the RG7321 7 string and I have followed the schematics but get no sound from either pickup!

Did you rewire with the original switch or did you buy a strat 5 way.
Box switches are different from the strat 5 ways.
the 7321 uses a box version of the super5way if I remember correctly.

its a mess what do i do with the bare wires?? on the schematic it shows red being twisted with that and blue off the other pickup being twisted with it

The bare one is ground. It goes to the back of the pot. It should be on the diagram too.

both red and bare on the neck and blue and bare on the bridge get twisted together and soldered to the back of the volume pot (ground)
