S Series pickup wirinng question

So I replaced the bridge pickup on my S Series 1520 with a Dimarzio Tone Zone. For some reason, it sounds like the coil is split or something. I am not getting a very thick tone, so I figured I may have just wired the 5 way switch up wrong. For now, the neck pickup is staying, so i have left that wiring intact. Here is a picture of how it is wired.

I have the Tone Zone red wire to the far left lug, the black and white wires on the 5th lug from the left, and the bare and green wires to ground on the volume pot. Is this correct for a 5 way switch?

Thanks!

Cameron

Re: S Series pickup wirinng question

according to the wiring scheme on http://www.ibanez.com/support/wiringdiagrams.aspx, it should've worked...
double check your green and bare connection...
try wiring either the black or white wires to ground while leaving the other on the 5th lug...

Re: S Series pickup wirinng question

Is there a wiring diagram for just 2 Dimarzio humbuckers and a standard 5 way switch (not a super switch)?

Re: S Series pickup wirinng question

Ok, so this is what I want to do, but with two Dimarzio humbuckers.

Anyone have a diagram to work with this setup and Dimarzios?

Thanks!

Just swap the red and green wires.

Re: S Series pickup wirinng question

Your Black and White are your separate coils Red is your hot and Green is your ground as well as your stranded silver unsheathed. You should have it setup like that with both pick ups... Have you changed over the 5-way switch or is it still the same? DiMarzio offers a 5-way that works amazingly well... Just FYI.
