Question

SDs without the SD logo?

Hi,

Hey, does anyone know if you can order every Seymour Duncan pickup without the Seymour Duncan logo on it?

The presence/absence of the logo is offered as an available mod on two pickups on the SD website all of a sudden. Like on the Alnico II Pro, for instance:

Does anyone know more about this? Has this always been an available mod but have they just recently started showing it's availability on their website?

Thanks,
Myst

Yes, you can custom order any pickup with the standard logo, with the small logo and with no logo.

Contact your dealer for a custom order.
Personal suggestion: user banjomikez on 'Bay is a SD and DiMarzio dealer, he can get any custom order pickup (colour, overwound, logo...)

Muito obrigado! That's great news. I like the look of the logo on the pickups but sometimes it just doesn't look that nice in the context of the whole of the guitar.

Thanks again!

Correct, any Duncan can be ordered with or without logos. However, you can easily remove the logo with something like Brasso or similar polish.

Yeah, but wouldn't that affect the black finish of the coils underneath it in a bad way?

Re: SDs without the SD logo?

We are a Seymour Duncan authorized dealer, and we can order anything they make.
It's only $3.00 to get them without the logo, or different colors.

We're also running a holiday special, 10% off everything on the site.
