Seymour Duncan 7's

Is anyone else having problems getting hold of Seymour Duncan 7 string pickups? I live in South Africa and I've got stories ranging from "world-wide demand" to "production line failiure". I ordered them like 5 months ago

Re: Seymour Duncan 7's

I think the issue might be that SD isn't as dedicated to maintaining their 7-string line as DiMarzio. Which model? It was 4 years ago when I bought an Invader-7 and it was on closeout from musicians"enemy" dot com- can't imagine SD cranking out their 7's in abundance now. My other 7 has Blazes, which sound better anyway.

If you don't want to wait that long, you can always poke around the classifieds section on this site to see if anybody has those pickups that they would sell in the meantime, then you could cancel your order.

I just put this combo in my 2027, and it's the first time the guitar has sounded good to my ears (weird huh?) The 59-7 is gorgeous!
