Seymour Duncan in RG

Majority of Rg's owner will put Dimarzio in his/her RG.
It is because artist that use ibanez use this pickup, or Dimarzio functioning well with Ibanez?
I wanna try to put Duncan Distortion Trembucker in my RG570, but scared if i will get a weird sound.
Or maybe i can get my personel sound with this opinion?
Have anyone put Distortion Trembucker in RG?

Salam sejahtera aloy

there's nothing wrong with duncans in RGs. my RG 1550 is awaiting the arrival of the Custom trembucker. coupled with a Distortion in the neck, this should be an audio pleasure...

i have good experiences with both Dimarzios & Duncans in my Ibanezs. my current fav is my S540 equipped with Duncan Invader (b) & Full Shred (N)- amazing clarity & reaction to high gain! many had touted the Invader to be bass excessive but my S540 proved otherwise- thick low end without the mud...

good luck with your tone quest!

In my rg1550 I have a SD 59 in the neck position and it sounds very good. I also have an Evolution in the neck and I like this combination very much.

the '59 in the neck is nice but it can't deliver tones with lots of gain pumped into it. that's the reason why i removed it from the S540 i mentioned previously. i have it in a GAX model & it stays put there because it's the right humbucker in the right guitar.

Go with the parallel axis distortion,it is thick and powerful and will sound great in your RG. tony macalpine uses them

i have a custom trembucker in my rg320. very cool pup. the Invader was a little too much. no clarity. the custom sings. the screamin demon in the neck is pretty cool too.

By Duncan Distortion Trembucker, do you mean the TB-6 or the PA-TB2?

Ive got a TB-6 in my RG470, i love hte way it sounds. Its hot and aggressive, without being overly thick and muddy.

when you have the invader, EQ is another consideration. some people have this in their guitars but they still scoop their setting...
