Seymour Duncan JB/59

I am thinking about replacing the neck and bridge stock pickups on my Rg370DX with duncan JB(bridge) and 59(neck).My guitar is made out of basswood and was wondering if these pickups would be suitable? also opinions from anyone with these in a basswood body or a rg370dx would be helpful. thank you!

I can't speak for the 59, but I have a JB f-spaced in my RG750 which is basswood and it can blow the ball$ off a charging rhino at 50 paces. I also have a JB and a Jazz in a Warmoth strat which is a killer combo.

Re: Seymour Duncan JB/59

This is a great thread. I was thinkin about putting Seymour Duncan pickups, JB(Bridge), Hot Rail(middle), 59(Neck) onto my RG370DX. Now that you guys say that the pickups are great, I can continue installing them. Thanks guys. Really appreciate it.

Re: Seymour Duncan JB/59

I usually used a JB/59 in a bunch of guitars, but I just put a JB/Jazz in my LP Standard. I'm not sure if I like the Jazz or 59 more but the JB is awesome. Infact it the JB and I were both women I would make out with it and it would be hot.

Thumbs up

Re: Seymour Duncan JB/59

If anyone in the UK wants to make a sensible offer on a JB/59 set, give us a shout; i've just taken them out of my RG6CST2 and replaced them with my preferred Air Zone/Air Norton combo so i've got 2 pups just sitting around.

I don't know what it is with Duncans, but they're always good. I have them in all my guitars. DiMarzios are like "yeah, that's cool" but Duncans are like "Geez! That pup rocks!".
