Shielding tremolo spring cavity

Hi, I'm wondering if it's a good idea to put aluminium adhesive foi in the trem cavity or is it better off to leave it as is? Also I note that the control and output jack covers are shielded with aluminium adhesive, is it ok to put another layer over the existing one's?

I thought that shielding the cavities would make for better ground? It's kind of logical if you think about it... Well I've some spare time for this I'll let you guys know if it's worth the bother...
