Single Between TZ and PAF Joe?

This type of question seems to be common at the moment lol!

I have a TZ and a PAF Joe for my alder usa strat, and I want a single coil with good strat sounds in 2/3/4 and enough output to match the Humbuckers.

What would you guys suggest?

+1 both the Virtual 2 and Virtual Vintage pups sound excellent on a strat.

Any thoughts on the area 58' pickups that replaced the 2.1?

Great pup, simulates strat sounds very well IMO and doesn't have any hum. Of course if you HAVE to get as close to the strat sound as possible (60 cycle suseptability and all), go for the blue velvet.

Thanks for the opinions, I've just ordered an Area 58, as it appears to be very similar to the 2.1

I'll post an MP3 or something once I've got it installed
