Single coil sized pickup similar to an Air Norton?

I have an MIM strat, with a Tone Zone in the bridge, stock single coil middle, and Vintage Rails neck. I've been getting very frustrated with the Vintage Rails, its extremely bright and low output, which is not what I wanted in a neck single coil. I wanted to know what singe coil, or single coil sized pickup is the most similar to an Air Norton, because that is probably my favorite neck pickup. But I still want some single coil sounds in the neck, and neck/middle positions. It must be smooth with gain, and warm, without being muddy. Thanks in advance.

For what you're looking for, I would probably suggest the Dimarzio Chopper. It's my favorite hum-cancelling single coil. If not a Chopper, then maybe check out the Fast Track pickups. The Chopper is pretty much right in between the Fast Track 1 and 2 pickups as far as power goes, but I personally think that the Chopper splits better than the FS1.

actually most people say that the pro track is the single most like the air norton and the specs from dimarzio reflect that. i personally have not tried it, but that is the word on the street.

You may be right about that, but I never really cared for the Pro Track (or the Air Norton) myself. I've always been more of a PAF Pro fan myself.

Good call on the CHOPPER Lyconxero. I too was looking for a stacked single coil similar to Air Norton. I was looking at Fast Track 1, Pro Track and Chopper. So, I contacted Dimarzio Tech, and was told Chopper was the best choice.
