single dimarzio evolution wiring

hi
ive just removed all the stock pickups on my ibanez rg450mmh
mahogany body maple neck and fret board

placed an f spaced evo on the bridge
(think ill stick to one pick up at the moment)

how do i wire it on the 8 pole switch so that it has options like

selector:
1) no signal
2) north single coil
3) south single coil
4) parallel/out of phase
5) bridge full humbucker mode

is it possible with the stock 5 way switch?

currently
i wired

pin:
1) white n black wires
2) nc
3) bridge red wire
4) connect to pots
5) nc
6) nc
7) ground
nc

nc - no connection

and

when i switch to pos 1 n 2
its full humbucker
and 4 n 5 its single coil sound

i dont belive you can wire it the way you want to.

for the in parallel out of phase you need a dpdt switch or push pull knob. From there you would be able to wire it up for being split but i think you need a combination of wires and connections.

this is interesting, i am going to play with it and see if i can't get it to work out . It maybe possible

will post back when i figure all my stuff out.

ok i think i got this right but you wont be able to wire it up unless you have 2 dpdt switches .

becaue you'd always have to have 2 wires running to the same prong for either north or south pole coils.

if you had 2 switches i belive you maybe able to get closer to that but that would take a bit to get the wiring stright.
