ok so i have had a jackson dinky with dual 81's in it forever, and i have wanted them in my rg 350 which had a paf pro in the bridge and stock in neck and middle, i also picked up and emg afterburner somewhere along the line and it had been sitting in a draw, so i got my emgs out of the jackson and went to work puttin them in the ibanez, all wired up and no where to go, n e ways i plug it in and it sounds ok but its not picking up any pinch harmonics and i have to jack the amp way up to hair, so i take it all back apart, look over all the wires, fix what i thought it might be, no luck still messed up, so i figured my afterburner is junk......so i take it out and just wire up the pots, the pickups are lowder but still no harmonics and now my volume pot does not work, so i ordered new pots and wires for the emg's but what could my sound problem be? and where can i get a new clip for the afterburner? cause i want to try it again but now the wires on that are junked up. should i try it again? i kinda need to cause i just have an extra hole on my pickguard if not.

and by volume pot does not work i mean, it does not lower volume at all.

Make sure your grounds are soldered correctly, re-trace every wire to make sure its in the correct place, not sure what the problem is, but sounds like a quick fix.

ok i kno the new pots and wires will make it a whole lot easier, to just fix then trying to trace wires, new question, i have a telecaster with emg's in it but i am take out the neck emg to make an esquire, (already ordered pickguard) and i want to put that in the middle on my rg and have a 3 way with 3 pickups (neck = just neck middle = just middle bridge = just bridge) the telecaster emg is an old 1 from the 80's so it has the wires attached (pre quick-connect) can someone make me a diagram on how i would wire the middle pickup into the emg equation would be much appericated.
