So I put a Steve's Special in my 24 3/4" Mahogany guita

And I think it sounds pretty damn good. Seems to have cleared up the mud issue. Still appears to have plenty of mids (playing through a TSL100) and some great harmonics...

So next question...

I have a PAF Pro in the neck. I think I want to replace it with the following:

Air Norton
Breed
Fred
Humbucker from Hell

Which one would be a good match with the Steves Special as well as the overall vibe of the guitar?

Breed is fairly flat and seems to have extended bass. THe air norton is nice and tight.I like it for that reason.THE Air Norton is clean and not alot of lows which is great for me. THe hum from hell is cleaner and crisper tha nteh air norton.IT is essentially a single coil sound from a humbucking pup.It will have some more highs than the Air Norton as well.
