Sorting out my PGM200 wiring???

First question! I've got three humbuckers, and a 5 way switch that I'd like to do the following with:

Position 1 Bridge Humbucker only
Position 2 Bridge and middle humbucker together
Position 3 Middle only
Position 4 Neck and middle together
Position 5 Neck only

Can't figure out how I can get all three at once?? Maybe I can just get rid of the middle only position since I really never see anyone use it by itself??

I'd also like to be able to split the pups into singles so could it work if I use a JS1000 Tone pot instead of the normal PGM pot?

Okay thats more like 5 questions *LOL* but I'd really appreciate some help cause I know this one is going to be a monster! Thx guyz......

The original wiring has the middle pup acting as a single.

As for your 5 questions (), have you asked Dimarzio?

Seriously though, your best shot is emailing DiMarzio. They so good when replying to emails, very efficient and helpful. They will probably email you back within the hour!

You'd have to wire a push-pull pot to bring in the neck pickup anytime you want. I think it was called a strat "super 7" wiring. It basically gives you the above 5 positions mentioned above, but also lets you have Neck+Bridge and all three pickups.

Don't you just solder the middle black/white together, and disconnect the bridge and neck split wires?

Or is the switch on PGM's that different from RG switches?

Not sure haven't seen the switch on a RG in long time I'll have to check when I get home!

If you *really* want to wire your guitar in anyway you want, I'd suggest using a Megaswitch either from Dimarzio or Stew-Mac.
