Strat Tone Control Wiring

Hey my strat tone controls are currently wired as so:

The middle knob controls neck tone

The bottom knob controls middle tone

Is there anyway I can get the bottom knob to control middle AND bridge tone? I hate not being able to roll treble off the bridge pickup, but I also don't want to give up tone control for the middle pickup...

Thanks guys!

Try this
http://www.guitarelectronics.com/product/WDUSSS5L1205

It's for a TBX control on the middle and bridge, but I'd imagine the wiring would be the same as a normal tone control

Re: Strat Tone Control Wiring

Hmm, so according to that diagram, I would only have one one wire from the switch to the middle lug of the bridge/middle tone control?

just curious, but would that only allow me to control the tone when the selector was in the 2nd or 4th position, whatever one it is, when bridge and middle pickup are selected?

because i have my neck tone control set up as a push pull so that i can combine bridge and neck and i want to be able to control neck and bridge tone in that position...think it'll work? ;] thanks again for the help

Re: Strat Tone Control Wiring

Look around that site man, they have a ton of different diagrams. I think if you are nice they will even make a custom one for you.

You would only run one wire to the tone control because you are going from the switch to the tone control, not from each pickup. The pickups are joined at the switch so comming off of that lug only needs one wire. Your 2 and 4 positions should be fine.
