Stuck on a bridge pickup

Ok I cant decide between the dimarzio megadrive(yes, they still make it), dimarzio super 3, and the norton.

I am looking for a shred sound, clear when distorted, with good low end and smooth top.

ah the megadrive... i have it in the bridge of my S540. it is capable of reproducing what you want, in fact i've been using it for shred & some really extreme stuff. the mid-range can be excessive but it's not what your amp EQ can't cure...
