Re: Switch???

Wouldn't SPDT be a 3-way switch? And to answer the question, I would assume that most or all switches intended for use in a guitar are on/on, or on/on/on depending on the type, but I certainly don't know that for a fact. What are you trying to do?

EDIT: Well, a bit of research seems to reveal that the type of switch doesn't necessarily indicate how many positions are available. In addition, I'm not sure that you can automatically assume that they'll be on/on, but I would expect that if it doesn't say one way or the other, it's probably on/on, at least if you're purchasing from a guitar shop. Hit up a general electronics shop and all bets are off, but again, the type of switch it is should be clearly indicated I would think.

Yes. For two ways anyway. SPST is on/off.

In a three way, SPDT would be on/off/on, SPTT would be on/on/on.

Starting to make sense?

Re: Switch???

What swich would I use for my purpose?

I need a switch that is a 2 way on/on because I only want the bridge at one time and the neck at others. What switch could I use? Im probably going to use the George Lynch Style wiring.
