the TONE ZONE? best bet for a les paul type tone from a ibanez?

I guess this is the best one for the fattest les paul type tone
is the TZ right?
i have a roadstar that is basswood/birch ands it has a all maple neck(fingerboard)
it also has a traditional trem not locking and i want it to sound as close to a LP as possible

I have a Roadstar like that, and since i gotta have a new pickguard built, i was toying with the idea of dropping a bucker in there... But i think ill leave the 3 singles there...

But its still a basswood, strat shaped Ibanez axe, so with a Tone Zone it should sound closer to a PGM than a Les Paul...


Paf Pros always reminded me of a Les Pau-lish sound, maybe its my amps settings... but with those same settings a TZ in the bridge sounds pretty close to EMGs...
