most of the pickups Q's are always asked again and again, so i suggest a FAQ of dimarzio pickups sticky tread thingy, where u can see all the pickups and see what it's best for and what it will do in basswood/mahogany etc. this would give a better overview instead of reading 100times the same post about how one guy likes it and the other say it sucks etc....

In the end the pickup preference is only determined by the user anyway. Also, Dimarzio gives pretty good overall descriptions of their products on their own site.

In my opinion this forum serves it's purpose just as it is in allowing us to know that we are not alone in our endless and often obsessive quest for "that sound".
