Tone Zone in alder body RG570CT? still searchimg for answer

Hi,
Been searching for an answer from players using an alder body guitar about its tone and the possibility of it sounding good with a Tone Zone. My guitar has always sounded thin and weak with the stock pickups. i know the Tone Zone would take care of that but will still have the dynamics of the highs (the harmonics and presence of highs). The reviews sometimes say that tts bassy, middy, muddy and otherwise say it does have good highs too. I guess it narrows down to the wood of the guitar they put it in....
