VLX91 (Millionth Post!)

Hey, I realize this is almost literally the millionth post on this switch but I have a few noobie stupid questions.

1) Are the common posts suppose to be connected from the VLX91 to the OTAX side with small jumpers?

2) I am using all evolution pickups and using this diagram(http://www.ibanez.com/support/wiring/W97022.gif) to hook it up. I want to know, what is this wire connecting?

3) I am interested in just standard wiring for now but in the future, is it possible to wire it from neck pick up to bridge like this?

(Borrowed and edited from Nuno)

Thanks for reading and hopefully helping me figure this all out.

Re: VLX91 (Millionth Post!)

Update!
As far as I can tell that wire I was asking about connects the common poles from left to right allowing all 20 pole contacts to be used. So wiring my guitar up exactly per that Diagram, I get absolutely nothing. I turn the volume up, I turn the volume down. The best I get is a little bit of Pot crackle but not much if at all. A little help would be nice.

Re: VLX91 (Millionth Post!)

Heres my version of the standard Jem wiring diagram using a VLX91.. I have used this diagram several times.

the wires are colour coded and do not cross each other so its very easy to follow.

The green and shield go to ground of both humbuckers and the single coil black wire goes to ground also.

The pots are drawn as push-pulls so there is no confusiton about the orientation of the pot.

Each side of the switch is labelled in a light blue box and is drawn from the point of view of looking at the swtich with the blade arm poking out the top.

hopefully it will help you out... to see where you went wrong.

Re: VLX91 (Millionth Post!)

This is quite different to the Ibanez diagram with a 4pole singlecoil (they don't even use) - Is this correct for the ISCV2?

Is this the only possible way to get standard switching options? Is there another way to alter the Ibanez diagram (we started) to get the same result?
