What dimarzio to put in my Giger RG2

Ok

I was thinking a Dimarzio Super Distortion 3.

I want this for heavy metal/rock.

Its either that or the EVO maybe.

Any suggestions as what to put in my new giger would be great ???

Thanks

Re: What dimarzio to put in my Giger RG2

Well I just got the Dimarzio Super3 and it sounds alot better than the INF1. I am now thinking of getting an evolution in the neck position.

I thought i was going to have to solder everything and opened up the inside and realised that I can just split wires and wind em together and tape em up with electrical tape.

Damn so much easier than soldering.

From now on I just leave the original solder on the selector and just cut the wire and tape em together. Don't know why I used de solder and re solder everything.

Personally I think if you're gonna start taping down wires, you're just asking for something to go wrong, it's better to be safe and solder the wires then to be sorry.

As for pickup recommendations I think the super distortion would be a great choice, either that or a tone zone. If you're looking for a neck pickup as well I would say an Air Norton would be suitable.

lol, if you're just electrical taping ****, let me point out a few things:

1. That's hokey, as hell
2. Are you really that lazy?
3. Electrical tape loses its stick and therefore your connection, so you'll need to redo it eventually
4. If you ever want to sell the guitar, people won't want to buy it.

kinda like this- (Forget screws guys, they're too much work, I just nailed my neck in, sure there's some sharp metal points around the 20th fret but screws were just so hard)

When I had my RGT42 a D-sonic and Air Norton where the only things to me that sounded better than the stock INF`s(which in MY guitar wheren't that bad ,compaired to my main axe with Evo`s)

Take it easy, im not that lazy, I wound up the wires together soldered them and taped them so they wouldn't touch other naked wires.

I just decided to leave the original solder on the pup selector and leave wire comming from the selector and cut into the wire that way.

Does that make sense to you ?

Plus I wont ever be selling my guitars.

I would never sell my children, would you ?

lol. To be honest i taped my first pup change to make sure the **** worked right but eventually soldered it once i knew it worked right. When I did my RG4EX1 i just soldered it though. I knew I wouldn't **** it up.
