What does Satch have wired up to not lose trebel when rolling off volume?

What does Satch have wired up to not lose trebel when rolling off volume? What do you call it? How is it done? I'm tired of the sound getting muffled when I turn down my volume. I wanted less volume not less trebel. I want to get that wired up in my RG. I need to get new Pots anywyas and I thought I might just do that too. Sorry if this is ignorance I just don't know.

Probably a capacitor on the volume pot. Ibanez does this on several models. My favorite with humbuckers is 300 (not sure of the units-picofarad or microfarad?)

It is a simple mod and inexpensive if your guitar doesn't have it. You can get capacitors at Radio Shack and they are pretty cheap. Maybe cheaper at an electronics wholesale store.

Look around the web for Ibanez wiring diagrams and you can probably find out just what you need.
