What neck pup goes with an SS on my jem?

I'm going to buy new pups for my basswood jem. I have a UV7BK
and I love the blaze 2 pups so I'm looking for something similar.
I play metal and I use a Mesa Roadster Rectifier so I love the scooped
mids. I've pretty much settled on the SS in the bridge cuz I read that it's
the 6 string equivalent to the Blaze 2 but I'm still up in the air on the
neck and middle single coil. I'm leaning towards the Blue Velvet cuz
I've heard Its has a nice clean sound and the EVO neck cuz I was told
it is similar to the Blaze 2 neck. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

No clue about the single coil as I don't use 'em enough to particularly care, but I've got the old "prog standard" configuration of Steve's Special / Air Norton in a basswood RG and that seems fine to me. Not that there's anything particularly wrong with the Air Norton, but I am considering swapping it out for a PAF Pro because I absolutely LOVE that pickup in the neck position. Probably can't go wrong with an Evo Neck either, though I've only tried it in Alder.

PAF PRO blends very well with the SS, I run this setup in one of my RG's

I'm actually removing paf pros from my guitar. Although I think there
good pups, I'm looking for something a little hotter with more output.

Not an uncommon comment for a PAF Pro user, they are considered a medium output humbucker. Given that, I'd definitely stay away from my Air Norton idea as well then. Probably an Evo would be a good choice for you.

Yea, I figured I should stick with the ceramic
since they have a higher output. I'm still not
to sure about the middle single coil since I dont
know much about them. I just want something
that is bright, clean and a good match output
wise with the SS and EVO. I've heard some people
talk about the blue velvet but I not to familiar
with any other singe coil.
