In his EBMM's doesn't he use a custom pickup in the neck and the D-Sonic now?

He used to use a Steve's Special in bridge and Air Norton in neck position for his old Ibby's, I think.

Yeah, I noticed the different pole peices as well, it could just mean he had a custom made with the poles to match the SS but either way the AN is the closest you'll get to it - I like his old front pup tone better anyway. another thing is notice his clean tone on score is nothing like it used to be, theres no scooped sound to it anymore like you get with a AN even without split coil.

The neck pickup is similar to an Air Norton, except one of the coils does not have the air gap.
