what pickups might these be?
I have this guitar I bought in a pawn shop here a long time ago and I asked some guy about it and he claims it was made by a guy who's local to this area.... I'm not sure but that seems to be the story on this guitar.... anyway... i t has these rail pickups in it with 2 micro switches.... the top one is definetly a phase switch as i can hear it on the
bridge pickup
and it sounds really thin and much like a wah is filtering the tone... anyway the other
mini toggle
seems to be a dead switch.... also it has a battery pocket but no battery or wires running to it or anything..... it is currently passive as far as i can tell... no leads for power no battery-snap.... here is a link to all the pics:
http://mikeymike.archwolf.net/neckthru/
they're way too big to post on here.... so please have a look at the pickguard pics and see if you can tell me what pickups are in this thing... thanks for your help.

I hope you didn't pay too much for it. I have no idea about the pickups.

That one was built by Legacy One, I think.
Umm, actually I do recognize those pickups for some strange reason.
Oh yeah, that's it! My dad made those in his garden shed!
No but seriously, I do kinda recognize them.

Re: what pickups might these be?
man i've had this guitar forever... it plays REALLY good... despite it's looks... it plays amazing. info about the sound..... well its REALLY BRIGHT... so i dunno what that might tell you about the pickups.... and i cant even figure out what kind of wood it is... it sorta looks like maple.. but yeah those pickups are kinda weak... and the phase switch works when its in middle+
bridge position
only. i paid like 190 for it in a pawn shop YEARS AGO. i think it's a good guitar it may look horribly built but its not.... and i broke the
locking nut
a long time ago it was fully functional when i got it.
i think it's really neat how the pickguard mounts from the back, there are no screw holes in the front of the pickguard for the mounting of it... and the selector switch is mounted underneath pickguard... so it looks really clean... only 6 screws on the front of it... 2 for each pickup.
maybe someone can look at the wiring and tell me what the other switch does? the "bass-string" side mini-switch is for phase.... the "treble" (for lack of a better locating description) side mini-switch seems to do nothing....

I thought they looked like BL's too, but then I thought they'd have the name underneath? I could be wrong.
