Whats the best..


Whats the best middle pick up for my RG.?

I have two evo's ( bridge & neck)

So what is the best middle pickup that suite's Evo's?

The HS-2 (wired in single-coil mode) is as similar to the single coil which is used on the JEM7VWH. Hope that helps.

Admittedly, my experience is limited to the mid Evo, Paf Pros and the Blue Velvet. The Blue Velvet has it hands down.

If your like me and don't use the middle pickup much, why not disconnect the middle pickup from the 5 way switch, wire it as two humbuckers with a 5 way switch and then wire the middle to a push-pull or something to bring it in if you want it in.

But if I had to pick, I'd probably go with the Blue Velvet or an HS-2.
